I’ve created a new group eBird account with the username “CarpBirdwatchers”. The idea is that we can use it for eBird lists that we’d like to share with the rest of the group at our weekly meetings.
This is similar to the “CarpCBC” group account we’ve used in the past to share checklists for the Christmas Count. Note that you won’t use this account instead of your regular eBird account. You’ll use it in addition to your regular account. After you’ve created a list using your regular account you’ll use eBird’s “share this checklist” feature to share the list with the “CarpBirdwatchers” eBird user. That’s it!
We’ll be exploring exactly how we want to use this group list in the weeks ahead. For now, feel free to share your eBird checklists with the account (or not — it’s completely optional). If you’d like to see checklists that others have shared with the account, you can view the CarpBirdwatchers eBird profile page.
Thanks!
